Whetstone Wanderers Youth FC are a London FA affiliated grassroots football club offering opportunities for boys and girls within greater London.
The history of Whetstone Wanderers Youth FC dates back to 1991 when local accountant Mr Chris Panayi was not satisfied with the quality of the football coaching that his young son was receiving and he decided to do something about it.
The Club was duly formed in 1991 with the first matches taking place in 1992.
We have grown from strength to strength to become the largest grassroots community club in the borough of Barnet, serving the community and its surrounding areas with over 600 boys and girls across 40+ teams, from u7s to u18s playing the beautiful game.
FA Charter Standard Status
We are delighted to be an FA Charter Standard Club since 2010. This kite-mark is awarded to clubs who provide a high quality football experience. FA Charter Standard Clubs are proven to be well run, sustainable and importantly place child protection, quality coaching and safety paramount.
Our partnership with Cockfosters began in 2013 enabling our elite teams to play in the Eastern Junior Alliance under the name of Cockfosters.
The club has a number of girls teams which play in the Capital Girls League and the Eastern Junior Alliance.
