The programme was developed in the year 2000 by Simon Clifford after he was unable to find any activities suitable for his young daughter of preschool age, Mary.
The syllabus helps to give your child the best start in life and uniquely, helps you to develop a stronger bond with your child, whilst developing your child’s motor skills, movement, speech, numeracy, colour identification, communication and teamwork skills.
This is done through ensuring your child has the individual attention they require, working with them to utilise and manage all parts of their agility, balance and co–ordination as well as social skills.
A non- competitive environment is created so regardless of whether your child is the strongest, biggest of fastest in the group they can fulfil their individual potential. Basic soccer skills are also taught in conjunction with 5 specifically designed skills books that align with session plans to create a fun and fast paced setting, ensuring children are kept active throughout the sessions.

Our mission is to engage children the world over in physical activity, using football as the tool. At SOCATOTS we use educational play based learning to promote movement patterns, balance, motor coordination and football specific techniques in children. Brazilian Soccer Schools training philosophy, put simply, is for players to become technically competent with the ball. Emulating Brazil, in creating the greatest technical players in the world.

Our unique selling points include age-specific educational & technical training at SOCATOTS and Brazilian Soccer Schools, utilising the Futebol de Salão size 2 weighted ball along with an added skills syllabus to track progress of our members. This innovative and unique approach, paired with lively samba music, enhances coordination, touch, and speed of play, providing a distinctive and engaging learning experience for young footballers.

Franchisee Requirements
- A Brazilian Soccer Schools & SOCATOTS franchisee must either possess a genuine passion for football and sports development, demonstrating enthusiasm for nurturing footballers and sports enthusiasts, or be a business-minded individual who can recruit coaches to manage the coaching aspect of the business.
- They should possess an inner drive to succeed, with a strong motivation to excel in all aspects of life and positively influence our members.
- High energy and excitement for the role, along with a commitment to personal growth through continuous self-improvement and learning, are essential.
- A hardworking attitude, demonstrated by a robust work ethic and willingness to put in the necessary effort, is crucial.
- The ideal candidate should have a proactive approach, taking the initiative in identifying and addressing needs and opportunities.
- A cheerful and optimistic outlook is important, as is the ability to connect with and effectively engage young learners.
- While previous coaching experience is desirable, it is not essential, as full training will be provided.
- First Aid & Safeguarding courses will need to be undertaken and a full enhanced DBS check carried out.
