AFC Barwell are a community charter standard football club operating in the Barwell & Earl Shilton Area of the East Midlands within Leicestershire and Rutland FA.
We offer football coaching and matches to around 300 children, both girls and boys, between the ages of 3 and 18 years old.
The club has teams competing in the Leicester & District Mutual Football League, Leicester and District Sunday Juniors League and the Leicestershire Foxes Sunday League.
Through the provision of football we offer young people the opportunity to gain the skill of teamwork and improve their fitness. Our teams play in matches at weekends and train twice a week.
Club Aims
Our aim is to improve the ability of all children and create an opportunity for them to learn in a safe and enjoyable environment. AFC Barwell’s new home from 2013 is a £700,000 sate of the art sports complex located at Dovecote Way, Barwell.
Our new club ground has one of the most modern and well equipped club houses and newly constructed playing fields which will provide some of the best playing surfaces found anywhere in Leicestershire. This new complex is a fantastic asset, allowing AFC Barwell to provide the highest standards possible.
The club has a number of teams which play in the Leicester and District Sunday Juniors League , Leicester and District Mutual Football League,and the Leicestershire Foxes Sunday League.
