Coalville Town Ravens Football Club are a grassroots football club affiliated with Leicestershire & Rutland FA, in the East Midlands.
We were formed as a youth section in 1999 and are now the largest club in NW Leicestershire with 67 teams which includes the largest female section in the whole of Leicestershire.
On top of this we run two wildcats centres for young girls new to football aged 5-11 plus our mini ravens 3-7 year old boys and an ever expanding Inclusive football session to ensure we can offer football for all.
There are teams for girls and boys from U7 to U18 and some girls do play with our boys sides which we also encourage. We are proud to offer football to over 800 players.
Coalville Town Ravens Football Club are very closely linked to our men’s first team who play at step 3 of the non league system but we are ran financially apart. The close links see many of are young players watching the first team on a Saturday afternoon and has really helped grow the game at the club and attendances which are key for non league football.
The club is looking to have our own 3G facility installed this time next year to bring us all together rather than across so many different venues as we currently are.
Coalville Town Ravens Football Club offer football for both girls and boys on a Saturday or Sunday to help that flexibility for the children and parents and strive to offer more than football encouraging our youngsters into coaching and referring as they become teenagers.
The club has a number of junior grassroots football teams which play in the following leagues:
- Leicester and District Mutual Football League
- Leicester and District Sunday Juniors League (U13 to U15)
- Leicestershire Foxes Sunday League (U11 to U12)
- Leicestershire Womens and Girls Football League (U7 to Open Age)
- Leicestershire Youth League
