WHO WE ARE
A Fully Inclusive Grassroots Club.
A Community Charter Standard Club.
A Club with the FA RESPECT Values at it’s Heart.
Lymm Rovers JFC has established an outstanding reputation as one of the premier community clubs in the area. At present some 400+ young players make up 25 teams and this is growing year on year. The word is spreading that Lymm Rovers is the club to bring aspiring young footballers too.
The fantastic community work shown by LRJFC was recognised by The FA in December 2003 when the club gained Charter Standard Club Status. This accreditation is issued to show that the club has fully met FA regulations and guidelines and development programs. In 2014 the Club gained the highest Grassroots Status – Charter Standard Community Club. This Status was helped by our Ever growing Girls Section, which over a two year period has grown by 500% in Participation.
We work continuously both on and off the pitch to ensure both growth and retention at our club and help players to foster a life long love of football. From our Thriving Academy’s to our Youth teams, To Our Award Winning Community Engagement Project ‘If Mum Can’ ,Each Player is supported in their ongoing Development.
Every Saturday morning of school term the club operates their Saturday Soccer School between 10:15 and 11:15 A.M. for both boys and girls aged between 5-10 years old. The cost is only £3.00 and is run by qualified professional coaches. The venue for this event is Lymm High School – All Weather Pitch. From this players are given opportunities to join one of the clubs respective teams appropriate to their age group.
WE ARE PROUD of the support received From all Committee, Managers and Coaches Who each give their time voluntarily to ensure each Player has the opportunity to play the beautiful game, despite their Age, Gender or Race.
WE ARE PROUD of our Players and Parents, who fully support the FA Respect Ethos, Our Club Beliefs and League Ethos.
The club has a number of junior grassroots football teams, which play in the Timperley and District Junior Football League and the South Manchester Girls League.
