Tigers Junior Football Club

Tigers Junior Football Club is an FA Charter Standard Community Club based in Hornchurch, Essex offering many opportunities for boys and girls grassroots football in the South East.

We are very proud to have been awarded the highest standard of Charter Standard Community Club status by the FA.

We have male and female teams from under 7’s to open age competing in the Echo Junior Football League, Chelmsford Youth League, Brentwood Community Football Alliance Youth League and the Essex County Girls League.

We have over 50 teams as well as our Cubs and Girls Development Centre, which trains children from reception and year 1 boys as well as girls from reception to school year 8.

Tigers Junior Football Club as part of the affiliation to Essex FA, commits to the guidelines set out by our governing body to ensure that all managers/coaches will be trained to a minimum of FA Level 1. The level 1 certification not only improves training techniques, but also ensures that all coaches have basic first aid training, child welfare and protection training.

All our coaches are also CRC checked (Criminal Records Check), and Tigers Junior Football Club pay all the costs for Managers to obtain their FA Level 1, their Safeguarding Children, their First Aid in sport qualifications as well as their full CRC check.

We are very proud that we have maintained this process as a Charter Standard Club for over 12 years, continually passing our annual Health Check to keep this accredited kite mark from The FA.

And after the FA upgraded our status back in 2020 to the highest accolade, the Charter Standard Community Club, we will endeavour to continue the great work to maintain this prestigious standard.

100% of the committee, managers and coaches at Tigers Junior Football Club carry out their roles voluntarily, and work extremely hard every season to give boys and girls a safe and fun environment to enjoy grassroots football.
