The East Midlands is one of nine official regions of England which consists of Derby, Leicester, Lincoln, Mansfield, Northampton and Nottingham. Other notable locations include Boston, Buxton, Chesterfield, Corby, Coalville, Gainsborough, Glossop, Grantham, Hinckley, Kettering, Loughborough, Louth, Market Harborough, Matlock, Newark-on-Trent, Oakham, Skegness, Wellingborough and Worksop.
There are five FA Counties in the East Midlands – Derbyshire FA, Leicestershire & Rutland FA, Lincolnshire FA, Northamptonshire FA and Nottinghamshire FA. Each of these are responsible for developing and supporting all grassroots football within each of their separate counties.
